Jane qualified in 1997 and soon after joined the criminal litigation team at Stephens & Scown. During the early years of her career she had the excellent guidance and support of both Stephen Nunn and James Rickard and from there she developed her advocacy skills and her client base grew to the extent that eventually she set up her own practice in Plymouth. She has recently joined BTL Solicitors as a consultant and brings with her years of experience and dedication to all of her clients. She will take responsibility from initial arrest right through to conclusion of a case.
Jane has specialised in representing children and young people at the police station and before the Youth Court. She has considerable experience in working with looked after/care experienced children, young people and their families. She has a good understanding of their particular needs and will work robustly to make sure the criminal justice system understands and meets those needs.
