Jeremy is a director of the company and has worked in criminal law specifically since he qualified in 2005. Jeremy has over 16 years’ experience of all aspects of the criminal justice system.
Jeremy attended University in Exeter before training with Osborne Clarke. He went on to work for local specialist criminal solicitors before setting up Jacobs & Tricks in 2010. He parted ways with his former partners in 2017 and set up BTL with Jodie Leonard.
That company has gone from strength to strength, starting life with just 5 duty solicitors across both offices, and now with 8 duty solicitors – making it the largest criminal law firm in the south west and the only one with offices in both Plymouth and Exeter.
Jeremy is not restricted to those cities, travelling as far south as Penzance or as far north as Nottingham on any given day of the week, if that is what the case requires.
Jeremy is a very popular solicitor. He has a significant client following due to his extensive experience and adept way he deals with all manner of cases. Jeremy puts the same effort into a shoplift as he would a murder. Jeremy is an engaging and personable solicitor who gets results and who is popular with clients and professionals alike.
